RN Clinical Documentation Integrity Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN Clinical Documentation Integrity Lead to manage and mentor a team of CDI Specialists, ensuring documentation excellence and compliance in a full-time remote position while maintaining frontline CDI review responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and mentorship to CDI team members, supporting their professional development
• Assist with the implementation of CDI policies, procedures, and workflows while participating in audits and quality reviews
• Conduct concurrent and follow-up reviews to ensure accurate documentation reflecting patient care quality and reimbursement considerations

Required qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• 3-5 years of recent inpatient acute care clinical experience
• 2-3 years of recent frontline inpatient CDI experience
• Active unrestricted U.S. Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Previous CDI Team Lead, Supervisor, Educator, or Management experience preferred
