RN Crisis Care Triage

Job Summary

Offering a part-time remote opportunity, the PRN Crisis Care Triage (RN) will manage incoming catastrophic injury referral calls, assess medical conditions, and coordinate care while working flexible hours, primarily during evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Provides professional and timely responses to catastrophic referral calls, applying nursing assessment and evaluation processes
• Identifies life-threatening emergencies and recommends appropriate interventions while maintaining communication with clients and case managers
• Documents triage activities and ensures adherence to quality assurance standards and customer-specific guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
• Active unrestricted RN license issued in a state or territory of the United States required
• Experience in triage or emergency nursing preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, particularly evenings, overnight, and weekends
• Strong critical reasoning and communication skills
