Job Summary
As a remote Inpatient Care Management Nurse RN working full-time, the candidate will manage inpatient case reviews, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure proper utilization of health services while adhering to evidence-based criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and concurrent reviews of inpatient cases using InterQual criteria
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and discuss plans-of-care
- Facilitate timely care and effective discharge planning while maintaining compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of residence
- 1+ years of clinical nursing experience in an Acute Inpatient Hospital setting
- 1+ years of experience in Utilization Review utilizing InterQual Guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and clinical platforms
- Permanent residence in Eastern Standard Time or Central Standard Time
