RN Licensed Auditor Trainer

Job Summary

To enhance the effectiveness of the Clinical Chart Validation team, the full-time RN Licensed Auditor Trainer will develop and deliver technical training, mentor team members, and assess training needs while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve audit productivity and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training plans and materials, assessing job-specific needs and measuring success
• Provide mentorship and support to audit team members, including orientation for new hires and ongoing coaching
• Integrate healthcare auditing principles into training and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines

Required qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing and an active RN License in the state of residence
• 5 to 7+ years of experience with InterQual/MCG criteria and a background in Utilization Management or Case Management
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate audit logic effectively to stakeholders
• Expert knowledge of medical claims, billing/payment systems, and coding terminology
• Proficiency in audit technology and Microsoft Office applications
