RN Licensed Nursing Faculty

Job Summary

To support the MSN Competency Based Education (CBE) curriculum, the part-time RN Licensed Nursing Faculty will engage with students, provide academic support, and facilitate learning in nursing education, nursing informatics, or nurse executive courses, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with students to assist with questions and challenges related to competency acquisition
• Initiate regular academic engagement and document interactions in student records
• Conduct weekly office hours and synchronous webinars while monitoring student progress and curriculum quality

Required qualifications

• Earned master's in nursing (MSN) and a Doctorate (preferably in Nursing) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two years' experience teaching graduate courses in nursing education, nurse executive, or nursing informatics
• Evidence of current RN licensure in one of the 50 states in the US
• Commitment to advocating for the learning needs of distance education students
• Experience with distance learning preferred
