Job Summary
To support the health and recovery of injured workers, the full-time RN Telephonic Case Manager will perform clinical assessments, coordinate medical services, and advocate for effective treatment in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's needs and treatment progress
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with claims examiners, clients, and medical providers to facilitate care
- Identify barriers to recovery and negotiate treatment plans while adhering to quality standards and promoting cost-effective solutions
Required qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
- Experience in managing complex medical conditions and treatment planning
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work-related stress effectively
