RN Telephonic Case Manager
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the RN Telephonic Case Manager will manage a portfolio of injured workers by creating case management strategies that facilitate medical recovery and successful return to work through advocacy, communication, and coordination of medical services.
Key responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone to evaluate the injured worker's needs and treatment progress
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with claims examiners, clients, injured workers, and other stakeholders
- Identify and address issues related to delayed recovery and negotiate treatment plans with medical providers
Required qualifications
- Current unrestricted RN license in a state or territory of the United States
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred
- Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred
