RN Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support patient care initiatives, the part-time RN Triage Nurse will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist patients in making healthcare decisions, and collaborate with telehealth providers, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide clinical assessment and nursing triage to diverse patient populations
• Direct patients to the appropriate level of care and offer telephonic health information
• Utilize critical thinking to respond to clinical issues and follow up as needed

Required qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure with at least five years of clinical nursing experience
• Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per month, covering full shifts as needed
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) required
• Previous experience in Emergency Department, ICU, EMT, or Triage settings
• Reliable internet service and ability to complete training within three weeks of hire
