RN Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Providing telephonic nursing triage, the full-time RN Triage Nurse will assess patients, direct them to appropriate care, and educate diverse populations while working remotely during day shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and provide nursing triage to various patients across the health continuum
• Direct patients to the most appropriate level of care and assist them in making informed healthcare decisions
• Collaborate with Telehealth providers and perform outbound follow-up calls as necessary

Required qualifications

• Nursing Degree (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the candidate's state of residence, with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure
• Two to four years of clinical experience, preferably in medical-surgical, critical care, or inpatient settings
• Experience in Emergency Room, EMT, or Triage roles preferred
• Knowledge of Hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and HIPAA guidelines
