RN Triage Nurse

Job Summary

Providing critical nursing triage and health education, the full-time RN Triage Nurse will work remotely on night shifts to assess patients, direct them to appropriate care, and collaborate with Telehealth providers.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to patients in stressful and emergent situations
• Conduct clinical assessments and provide nursing triage to diverse patient populations
• Assist patients in making informed healthcare decisions and connect them to external resources

Required qualifications

• Nursing Degree (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of residence with the ability to obtain multi-state licensure
• Two to four years of clinical experience required, with a preference for hospital experience
• Experience in Emergency Room, EMT, or Triage settings preferred
• Knowledge of Hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and HIPAA guidelines
