RN Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support a growing Clinical Consultation team, the part-time RN Triage Nurse will triage calls to assess patient needs, provide care advice, and facilitate appropriate treatment while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Apply nursing processes to triage calls, assessing needs and providing care advice
• Identify life-threatening emergencies and recommend appropriate interventions
• Enter pertinent data into the computer system while adhering to quality assurance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active unrestricted RN compact licensure required
• Two years of recent clinical practice experience
• Proficiency in multiple computer applications and screens
