RN Utilization Management Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Weekend Utilization Management Nurse 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and communicate with providers, members, or other parties for discharge planning
• Review inpatient admission and clinical information to determine appropriate level of care
• Understand and implement departmental and organizational strategies

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the appropriate state with no disciplinary action
• 3+ years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Health Plan experience and Utilization Management experience desired
