Robotics Control Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Robotics Control Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on developing software for robotic systems, integrating hardware and software components, and collaborating with a global team to drive innovation in robotics programming tools and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software for controlling and operating robotic systems, implementing algorithms for perception, planning, and control
• Contribute to the development and validation of robotics toolpath planning algorithms
• Integrate hardware and software components into complete robotic systems, conducting testing to ensure functionality and performance

Required qualifications

• MS or PhD degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with commissioning and programming industrial robots, focusing on manipulation robotic systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB, and experience with robotics frameworks
• Familiarity with robotic simulation tools and platforms, such as ROS, Gazebo, and Isaac Sim/Omniverse
• Experience with robotic perception and manipulation algorithms, including path planning and motion control
