Robotics Hardware Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Robotics Hardware Integration Engineer to manage the interface between software and hardware on robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain drivers for sensors and actuators on Linux-based robot platforms
• Own the communication layer between onboard compute and hardware subsystems
• Integrate new sensors and hardware components, including validation and calibration

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in hardware-software integration for robotic systems
• Proficiency in C++ and Python on Linux platforms
• Experience writing and maintaining device drivers and sensor interfaces
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN and EtherCAT
• Familiarity with AWS IoT Core or similar platforms for device management
