Job Summary

Robotics Simulation Engineer, seeking a remote, hourly contract professional to design and optimize high-fidelity physical simulations for robotic systems, with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-fidelity robot models with accurate kinematics and dynamics
  • Build and maintain simulation environments using tools like MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, and Gazebo
  • Develop end-to-end simulation pipelines for robot training, testing, and validation
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with major robotics simulators (MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo)
  • Proficient in Python and/or C++ in a robotics or scientific computing context
  • Solid understanding of rigid-body dynamics, contact mechanics, and control theory
  • Experience creating and validating robot models in URDF, MJCF, or SDF formats
  • Familiarity with ROS2 and its integration with simulation environments
