Job Summary

Robotics Simulation Engineer, a fully remote hourly contract position, is responsible for designing and optimizing high-fidelity physical simulations to enhance robot learning and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement accurate robot models and maintain simulation environments using various robotics simulators
  • Develop end-to-end simulation pipelines for robot training, testing, and validation
  • Collaborate with researchers and engineers to optimize simulation performance and document configurations
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with major robotics simulators such as MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ in a robotics or scientific computing context
  • Solid understanding of rigid-body dynamics, contact mechanics, and control theory
  • Experience creating and validating robot models in URDF, MJCF, or SDF formats
  • Familiarity with ROS2 and its integration with simulation environments
