Job Summary
Robotics Simulation Engineer is a fully remote, hourly contract position responsible for designing and optimizing high-fidelity physical simulations for robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement detailed robot models and maintain simulation environments
- Develop end-to-end simulation pipelines for robot training, testing, and validation
- Collaborate with researchers to optimize simulation performance and document configurations
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with major robotics simulators like MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ within a robotics or scientific computing context
- Understanding of rigid-body dynamics, contact mechanics, and control theory
- Experience in creating and validating robot models in URDF, MJCF, or SDF formats
- Familiarity with ROS2 and its integration with simulation environments
