Job Summary
Robotics Simulation Engineer, a fully remote hourly contract position, is responsible for designing and optimizing high-fidelity physical simulations to enhance robot learning and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robot models with accurate kinematics and dynamics
- Build and maintain simulation environments using tools like MuJoCo and NVIDIA Isaac Sim
- Develop and optimize simulation pipelines for robot training and validation
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with major robotics simulators (MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo)
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ in a robotics context
- Understanding of rigid-body dynamics and control theory
- Experience in creating and validating robot models (URDF, MJCF, or SDF formats)
- Familiarity with ROS2 and its integration with simulation environments
