Job Summary
Robotics Simulation Engineer, a fully remote, hourly contract position, is responsible for designing and optimizing high-fidelity physical simulations to enhance robot learning and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-fidelity robot models with accurate kinematics and dynamics
- Build and maintain simulation environments using major robotics simulators
- Develop end-to-end simulation pipelines for robot training and validation
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with major robotics simulators like MuJoCo, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, or Gazebo
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ in a robotics or scientific computing context
- Solid understanding of rigid-body dynamics, contact mechanics, and control theory
- Experience creating and validating robot models in URDF, MJCF, or SDF formats
- Familiarity with ROS2 and its integration with simulation environments
