ROI Medical Record Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a ROI Medical Record Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requestor information and determine records to be released in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• Answer phone calls regarding various ROI issues and process requests from physician offices as needed
• Log medical record requests into the ROI On-Line database and comply with facility policies and regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• One or more years of experience entering data into computer systems
• Prior work experience in Release of Information in a physician's office or HIM Department is a plus
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred
• Proficiency in using computer applications and the internet is required
