Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statutory Accountant - Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounting tasks for specific regions and functional processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and month-end close activities
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax declarations, and support year-end statutory closing activities
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and standards, acting as the primary contact for auditors and controllers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Chartered Accountant (member of CECCAR)
• Significant multi-GAAP accounting experience
• Fluent in Romanian and proficient in English
• Deep understanding of operational processes linked to financial statements
