Routing Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Routing Engineer to support daily route planning and optimization for dedicated customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily route planning using transportation modeling software for operating teams
• Monitor electronic processing of order files and produce optimal, executable multi-stop dedicated routes
• Develop competency in engineering methods and Lean principles to improve transportation operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
• 2 years or more of related work experience in the Transportation or Supply Chain Industry
• 0 to 1 year of Transportation Experience (Transportation Management, Dedicated, FTL, LTL)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Basic knowledge of Lean core tools/processes (e.g., 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management) preferred
