Routing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Routing Specialist (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily route planning and optimization for dedicated customers using transportation modeling software
• Monitor electronic processing of customer order files and completed routes
• Produce optimal multi-stop dedicated routes based on customer orders within a defined timeframe

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience in the Transportation or Supply Chain Industry
• 0 to 1 year of Transportation Experience (Preferred)
• Beginner skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Basic knowledge of Lean core tools/processes (Preferred)
