Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialist RPG Developer.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main subject matter expert (SME) for legacy IBMi platforms, focusing on RPG-based systems
- Collaborate with modernization architects and data engineers to analyze and document existing legacy application architecture
- Guide the modernization roadmap by identifying critical dependencies, technical debt, and risks in the legacy stack
Required Qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience in RPG III/IV/ILE and RPG Free Format
- Strong command of DB2 for i, DDS, and CL programming
- Experience in analyzing legacy systems and documenting business logic and technical flows
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams
- Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
