RPG Programmer Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time RPG Programmer Analyst will support and enhance critical applications on IBM i / AS400, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions while utilizing RPG, RPGLE, CL, and IBM i SQL.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on IBM i / AS400
• Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into effective solutions
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-production support

Required qualifications

• Solid experience in IBM i / AS400 application development
• Strong practical mastery of RPG / RPGLE
• Experience with CL and IBM i SQL
• Practical knowledge of Synon2/E (COOL 2/E)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
