RPSGT Certified Sleep Technician

Job Summary

To support the development of clinical AI solutions for sleep medicine, experienced RPSGT Certified Sleep Technicians will participate in a fully remote, short-term project focused on reviewing polysomnography (PSG) and home sleep apnea test (HSAT) studies while manually annotating sleep-related events according to AASM guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review sleep studies and manually annotate sleep-related events in accordance with AASM guidelines using a browser-based platform
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of all annotations aligned with project guidelines
• Contribute expertise to enhance the development and validation of AI systems for sleep study analysis

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sleep Technician
• RPSGT certification or an equivalent recognized sleep credential
• Experience manually scoring PSG and HSAT sleep studies
• Proficient in identifying and annotating respiratory events, arousals, desaturations, and sleep stages per AASM guidelines
• Familiarity with browser-based annotation platforms
