RPSGT Clinical Support Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing Home Sleep Testing department, the full-time RPSGT Clinical Support Specialist will provide clinical and technical assistance remotely, working three 12-hour shifts each week from 7 pm to 7 am EST, while ensuring high standards of care for patients with sleep disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical support through various communication platforms, including phone and remote access systems
• Assist physicians with editing report templates in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and train clinical support staff as needed
• Evaluate study data quality and score various sleep studies while ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards

Required qualifications

• Current RPSGT credential and a minimum of five years' experience in sleep medicine
• Licensure in states requiring it for scoring diagnostic tests and BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with Home Sleep Testing devices and scoring sleep studies
• Knowledge of polysomnography protocols and sleep medicine standards
• High school diploma; an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
