Job Summary
As a fully remote Sr. Scoring Technician (RPSGT or RRT-SDS), the candidate will ensure the accuracy and quality of home sleep study interpretations through expert manual review and scoring, while collaborating with the clinical team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform manual review and scoring of home sleep studies according to AASM guidelines and company protocols
- Validate and correct automated scoring results, applying clinical judgment to ensure scoring accuracy
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and maintain detailed documentation throughout the scoring process
Required qualifications
- Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorders Specialist (RRT-SDS) credential required
- Minimum of 5-8 years of sleep study scoring experience
- Strong knowledge of AASM scoring guidelines and sleep medicine principles
- Experience with manual scoring and quality review of sleep studies
- Proficiency with sleep scoring software and electronic health record systems
