RTL Special Assets Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an RTL Special Assets Officer to manage and resolve non-performing and high-risk residential bridge and fix-and-flip loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of non-performing and high-risk Residential Transitional Loans (RTL) to minimize losses and ensure compliance
• Develop and execute workout strategies for RTL special assets, adjusting based on borrower capacity and market dynamics
• Perform problem loan analysis and recommend resolution strategies to senior management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in special assets, credit workouts, or asset management focused on Residential Transitional Loans
• Expertise in workout strategies, foreclosure processes, and collateral liquidation for residential properties
• Strong knowledge of GAAP impairment analysis and accrual accounting related to residential credit
• Experience analyzing borrower financials and coordinating with legal counsel and servicers for loan resolutions
• Proven ability to present clear recommendations to senior management and capital partners
