Job Summary

Leading the development of subject-specific rubrics and evidence guides for reading/language arts and social studies, the full-time Rubric Development Lead will manage the entire rubric lifecycle, facilitate training sessions with subject matter experts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality educational tools in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the design and refinement of grade-level rubrics and evidence guides, ensuring alignment with relevant content standards and instructional frameworks
  • Facilitate training sessions and collaborative drafting with SMEs, and guide mock reviews to ensure clarity and usability of rubrics
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, serving as the primary point of accountability for high-quality delivery of all assigned materials
Required qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in education, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, or a related field (PhD preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational consulting
  • Strong background in literacy content, with familiarity in social studies preferred
  • Experience with state education agencies or large-scale instructional materials review initiatives strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse stakeholders
