Ruby on Rails Engineer
Job Summary
To support a remote team, the Ruby on Rails Engineer will build and maintain eCommerce applications for international clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to open-source projects.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard and familiarize with the tech stack and ongoing projects while contributing to small tasks
- Take on larger project features independently and lead technical initiatives on client projects
- Fully own major projects from requirements to deployment, mentoring junior team members and running internal workshops
Required qualifications
- Production-level fullstack experience with Ruby on Rails
- Passion for building high-quality software and eCommerce solutions
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teammates and clients
- Inclusive, community-driven mindset with eagerness to learn and share knowledge
- Familiarity with the Solidus framework and experience with React is a plus
