Rule Engine Architect

Job Summary

Designing and developing enterprise decision services, the full-time Rule Engine Architect will govern scalable rule models using Drools BRMS, while integrating with Java/Spring Boot microservices and optimizing rule execution remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop decision services leveraging Drools BRMS, DRL, Decision Tables, and DMN
• Integrate rule engines with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Optimize rule execution through Rete algorithm tuning and caching strategies

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Drools, Java, KIE Workbench, and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of rule engine architecture and design patterns
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Proven collaboration and governance skills in a team environment
• Mentoring experience in software development practices
