Job Summary

Designing and governing enterprise decision services, the remote Rule Engine Architect will develop scalable rule models using Drools BRMS and integrate them with Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.

Key responsibilities
  • Architect and optimize rule execution through Rete algorithm tuning and caching strategies
  • Develop and implement decision services leveraging DRL, Decision Tables, and DMN
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective governance and mentoring
Required qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience with Drools, Java, and KIE Workbench
  • Proficiency in CI/CD practices
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns with microservices and REST APIs
  • Experience in tuning performance for rule execution
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and govern technical teams
