Rule of Law Technical Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Rule of Law Technical Advisor - Retainer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data related to prison infrastructure and lead master planning for the prison
• Provide expert advice on program proposals and strategic direction related to Rule of Law
• Participate in project evaluations and facilitate knowledge sharing and training on best practices

Required Qualifications

• An advanced university degree in Law with a focus on Criminal Law or Penitentiary Law is required
• A second university degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience may be accepted
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the Public Penitentiary System or similar is required
• Experience in prison management, judicial or criminal system management is required
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in another UN language is desirable
