Job Summary
A company is looking for a Russian Instructor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver language instruction using proficiency-oriented methods and materials
- Teach all ILR skill levels, focusing primarily on speaking proficiency
- Develop and implement tailored syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or higher (or equivalent experience)
- Four or more years of experience teaching Russian to adult learners in an intensive proficiency-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Russian and in English
- Experience with proficiency-oriented language instruction methods
- Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency scale
