S3 Storage Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the remote contract S3 Storage Engineer will manage object storage technologies, enhance S3 integrations, and contribute to cloud-native architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS S3, NetApp StorageGRID, and Dell EMC ECS implementations
• Review customer codebases to improve S3 integrations and performance
• Collaborate on cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerized environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with object storage technologies, particularly AWS S3
• Strong development skills in Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with S3-compatible APIs and custom integrations
• Solid understanding of networking and storage architectures
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and data durability strategies
