SaaS Financial Analyst
Job Summary
Owning the measurement layer of the business, the full-time SaaS Financial Analyst will connect revenue operations data to financial outcomes, managing metrics infrastructure and ensuring data integrity between Salesforce and QuickBooks while providing insights that drive executive-level decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain SaaS metrics infrastructure, including ARR waterfall and cohort retention analysis
- Reconcile Salesforce bookings data with QuickBooks revenue entries to ensure a single source of truth
- Produce financial and revenue packages for leadership, including variance analysis and revenue forecasts
Required qualifications
- Three-plus years of experience in SaaS financial analysis, revenue operations, or FP&A at a B2B software company
- Proficiency in Salesforce and QuickBooks Online, including data-level understanding of opportunity objects and revenue categorization
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles applicable to multi-product SaaS businesses
- Ability to build financial models from scratch in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of the differences between bookings, billings, and revenue
