Sabre GDS Specialist
Job Summary
To optimize and manage complex travel booking processes, the full-time Sabre GDS Specialist will create and maintain automated scripts and workflows using the Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update automated scripts and workflows within Sabre GDS to reduce manual input
- Analyze current travel booking workflows and troubleshoot reservation, ticketing, or itinerary issues
- Identify bottlenecks in the reservation process and implement, test, and document new automation tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in Corporate Travel
- Deep knowledge of Sabre GDS formats and commands
- Experience with automation tools, scripting languages, or workflow software in a travel environment
- High attention to detail for troubleshooting and identifying workflow inefficiencies
