SAFE Act Licensed Mortgage Banker Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting one or more Community Lending Mortgage Bankers, the fully remote SAFE Act Licensed Mortgage Banker Assistant will facilitate the timely review and submission of mortgage loan application packages, manage loan-related documentation, and assist in client communication and compliance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with new loan applications by entering information, collecting documentation, and preparing necessary forms
- Manage and track loan-related documents and reporting for the Community Lending Mortgage Bankers
- Communicate with clients to gather additional information and ensure compliance with lending regulations
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of residential loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or related financial institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience with state and federal lending regulations
- SAFE Act Registration in good standing or ability to register under the Safe Act
- Considerable knowledge of general banking operations and federal/state loan documentation regulations
