Safety Associate - NJ Licensed

Job Summary

Providing remote support and monitoring, the per diem Safety Associate - NJ Licensed will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort during assigned shifts from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Key responsibilities

• Observes and reports changes in patient condition or behavior to appropriate staff
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional team to promote coordinated care
• Completes necessary documentation and reports in accordance with health information standards

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Knowledge of patient rights and safety protocols in a healthcare environment
• Completion of Patient/Sitter Companion Program and/or De-Escalation class preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is preferred
• Less than 1 year of previous related experience in a clinical setting is preferred
