Job Summary

Offering a remote-first opportunity, the full-time Systems Safety Engineer will conduct comprehensive safety analyses and document findings in compliance with MIL-STD-882E, with potential for permanent placement in Liverpool, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive engineering and technical safety analyses across complex systems
• Document detailed findings for investigative and safety reports in compliance with industry standards
• Review and assess problem reports for safety impacts, ensuring risk mitigation

Required qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience as a safety engineer in a technical environment
• Proven expertise in SSHAR, SAR, HTS, and FHA safety analysis per MIL-STD-882E
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Ability to independently manage safety assessments and reporting
• Effective communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
