Safety Management System Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SMS & QMS Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead hazard analysis and manage the Safety Risk Register for the fleet
• Develop and implement organization-wide safety risk management processes and proactive monitoring strategies
• Implement QMS architecture, ensuring compliance and managing the Corrective and Preventive Action process

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or equivalent preferred
• 5+ years in Aviation Safety, Systems Safety, and/or Quality Engineering, with experience in regulated environments
• Extensive knowledge of SMS and relevant ICAO and FAA standards
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and aligning on process vision
• Hands-on experience with safety-critical autonomous deployments and certification processes
