Safety Manager - Pharmacovigilance

Job Summary

Safety Manager - Pharmacovigilance is a full-time position responsible for implementing Pharmacovigilance and Medical Monitoring activities, supervising Safety Monitors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in clinical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees a team of Safety Monitors to implement safety monitoring activities
• Coordinates safety monitoring activities and reviews safety events in collaboration with project Medical Monitors
• Ensures compliance with Good Pharmacovigilance Practice and oversees the reporting of adverse drug reactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacology, nursing, or other scientific discipline
• 7-9 years of experience in clinical practice, research, or pharmaceutical medicine, with 3 years in safety monitoring
• 1-3 years of mentorship or managerial experience in pharmacovigilance project management
• Understanding of clinical drug development and pharmacovigilance services
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice
