Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Safety Scientist will manage ongoing safety surveillance of investigational and marketed products, directing cross-functional teams to evaluate safety data, identify safety signals, and prepare high-quality safety deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct continuous review and analysis of aggregate safety data from various sources, including clinical trials and post-marketing reports
- Lead the identification and evaluation of safety signals from multiple data sources and contribute to safety governance meetings
- Support the development and execution of safety signal and benefit-risk management strategies, including the preparation of periodic safety reports
Required qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in pharmacy, nursing, healthcare, or other life sciences or technical fields
- A minimum of 5-7 years of pharmacovigilance or safety risk management experience
- Experience with quantitative or real-world safety data and familiarity with signal-detection analytics
- Strong digital literacy, including proficiency with safety and real-world datasets and analytics tools
- Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and ability to prepare high-quality safety documents
