Safety Scientist
Job Summary
Responsible for ongoing safety surveillance of investigational and marketed products, the full-time remote Safety Scientist will manage cross-functional teams to evaluate safety data, identify safety signals, and prepare high-quality safety deliverables while contributing to benefit-risk assessments and compliance with global safety reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct continuous review and analysis of aggregate safety data from various sources, including clinical trials and post-marketing reports
- Identify data and process improvements to enhance signal detection and decrease time to signal identification
- Lead the planning, drafting, and review of periodic safety reports and support the end-to-end signal management process
Required qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in pharmacy, nursing, healthcare, or other life sciences
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or safety risk management
- Experience with quantitative or real-world safety data, ideally in signal detection or benefit-risk analytics
- Familiarity with analytics tools and methodologies relevant to safety data analysis
- Strong digital literacy, including the ability to interpret safety data from various sources
