Job Summary
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, the full-time Safety Specialist will administer safety policies, conduct training, and perform site inspections, with the flexibility to work remotely from select states.
Key responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations across all worksites
- Delivers safety training programs for managers and supervisors, focusing on accident prevention and investigation
- Conducts site inspections and investigates accidents to recommend hazard abatement measures and maintain safety records
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training required
- Experience with safety program management in cable telecommunications, commercial driving, or construction industries
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
