Safety Specialist Environmental Sustainability

Job Summary

Safety Specialist Environmental Sustainability is a full-time position responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy environment of care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing safety training within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain environmental and safety policies for regulatory compliance
• Inspect workplaces to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze safety data, track KPIs, and coordinate emergency response plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety
• Three years of experience in environmental, health, safety, and sustainability, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, MPCA, and other local regulations
• Relevant certifications are beneficial
• Proficiency with EHS software
