Sales and Use Tax Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Processing Specialist to prepare and file sales and use tax returns for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file over 700 sales and use tax returns monthly for level 2-3 clients
• Independently implement new clients and provide training to junior staff
• Foster client relationships through regular communication and support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of experience in tax processing, accounting, or business
• In-depth knowledge of tax compliance regulations for level 2-3 clients
• Experience with VITR software and technologies like RPA and Alteryx preferred
• Ability to mentor and coach junior staff members
