Job Summary
Detail-oriented and analytical, the full-time remote Sales Compensation Accountant will manage the administration of sales commission and incentive compensation programs, ensuring timely payments and data integrity while collaborating with Finance, Sales Operations, and Human Resources.
Key responsibilities:
- Calculate and reconcile monthly and quarterly sales commission and incentive compensation payments
- Coordinate with teams to maintain and update commission agreements and structures
- Review and audit compensation data to identify discrepancies and resolve variances
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the insurance brokerage industry
- Experience with commission calculations and incentive compensation programs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data manipulation
- Working knowledge of accounting systems and insurance agency management systems
