Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive growth by generating new sales leads and qualifying prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities within the public sector
- Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services while building relationships to qualify leads
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives and report weekly results to the sales team
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience with a history of exceeding lead targets in the public sector
- Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or related fields
- Prior experience as a sales development representative with a track record in the public sector
- Experience providing sales support for SaaS or cloud-based software products
- Experience with cold calling and using Salesforce or other CRM software
