Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive growth by generating new sales leads and qualifying prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities within the public sector
  • Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services while building relationships to qualify leads
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives and report weekly results to the sales team
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of sales experience with a history of exceeding lead targets in the public sector
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional 2 years of relevant work experience in sales or related fields
  • Prior experience as a sales development representative with a track record in the public sector
  • Experience providing sales support for SaaS or cloud-based software products
  • Experience with cold calling and using Salesforce or other CRM software
